Once cells are sealed in CytoShip™ tubes, they can be sent anywhere across the globe at ambient temperatures within a time frame of 5-7 days. Cells will remain healthy in the CytoShip™ medium and can be easily recovered with high viability rates upon receipt.

The following are features of the product:

  • Enables live cell shipment at ambient temperatures
  • Cells retain a high viability (greater than 70% on average) for up to 5-7 days (cell type dependent)
  • Designed as an environmentally friendly live cell shipment method that does not involve any cryopreservation agents such as dry ice or liquid nitrogen
  • Significantly reduces the cost of cell shipment by over 70%
  • Kit components:

    1. Medium A: 85µL
    2. Medium B: 35µL
    3. Empty CytoShip™ Tube

    Storage:

    Store the kit in its original box at 4°C.

    Proved Suitable Cell Lines for CytoShip™:

    HeLa, MB49, MC38, HEK293, RAW 264.7, PC3 and Primary CD8+T cells.
